ProLaunchKit Refund Policy
Last updated: September 7, 2026
At ProLaunchKit, we want you to feel confident when you trust us with your business. Our goal is simple: deliver a website you feel good putting in front of your customers. If something is not working, we want the opportunity to make it right.
This policy covers two separate things, and they work differently:
- The one-time website launch payment, which carries a money-back guarantee described in Sections 1 to 4
- Your ongoing care plan subscription, where cancelling stops the next renewal rather than ending the period you have already paid for. See Sections 5 to 7
By purchasing a ProLaunchKit service, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Website Direction Validation
For ProLaunchKit website projects, Website Direction Validation is the point when you indicate that the initial website direction is on the right track. This may happen when you:
- Approve the initial website or homepage direction in writing
- Confirm approval by email or through our project feedback system
- Submit revision feedback that clearly indicates you want us to continue developing the presented direction
- Otherwise clearly confirm that the overall creative direction should move forward
Website Direction Validation does not mean your website is finished. You may still request revisions within the scope of your project after validation. Validation simply confirms that the overall direction has been accepted.
2. Website Money-Back Guarantee
Our money-back guarantee applies to the one-time website launch payment under the conditions below.
Before Website Direction Validation
If you are not satisfied with the initial direction, you may request a 100% refund of your website launch payment before validating the website direction.
If an initial website direction has already been presented, we ask that you give us at least one reasonable opportunity to revise the work based on clear feedback before the refund is processed. Our goal is to fix the problem first whenever possible.
After Website Direction Validation
After validating the website direction, you may still request a 100% refund within 7 calendar days of validation if the direction or revision does not meet your expectations. To qualify:
- The final website must not have been approved
- The final website must not have been published for active use
- The website must not have been transferred or otherwise delivered for final use
- You must not already be actively using the completed website
- You must allow us at least one reasonable revision opportunity based on clear feedback
3. Website Partial Refunds
If more than 7 calendar days have passed since Website Direction Validation, but fewer than 14 calendar days have passed, you may qualify for a partial refund based on the stage of the project.
1 to 2 completed revision rounds
Up to 60% of the website launch payment may be refunded.
3 to 4 completed revision rounds
Up to 40% of the website launch payment may be refunded.
Requests made after 14 calendar days but before final publication or delivery may be reviewed individually. Refund eligibility at that stage is limited and is not guaranteed.
4. When the Website Launch Becomes Non-Refundable
The website launch payment is generally no longer refundable when any of the following applies:
- 14 or more calendar days have passed since Website Direction Validation
- The final website has been approved
- The website has been published for active use
- The website has been transferred or otherwise delivered for final use
- You have begun actively using the completed website
- Five or more revision rounds have been completed
- The project has been closed because of client inactivity
- Significant work outside the original project scope has been completed at your request
We will still take responsibility for a proven serious issue caused by ProLaunchKit, such as plagiarism, a significant technical failure caused by us, corrupted deliverables, or an agreed deliverable that was not provided.
5. Cancelling a Care Plan
Cancelling stops your next renewal. It does not end the period you have already paid for, and it is not a refund of that period.
You can cancel future billing at any time. Your website stays online and supported for the rest of the period you have paid for.
6. Monthly Plans
Launch is $25/month. Plus is $49/month.
- Cancelling stops the next monthly renewal
- Your plan stays active through the end of the current billing period
- The current billing period is not prorated
- The payment for a billing period that has already begun is generally not refunded
7. Annual Plans
Launch is $250/year. Plus is $490/year. Annual plans are paid upfront for the full term, which is what makes them roughly two months cheaper than paying monthly.
- Cancelling stops the next annual renewal
- Your plan stays active through the end of the paid annual term
- ProLaunchKit continues providing the included service for the rest of that term
- There is no prorated refund for unused months
Once ProLaunchKit has begun providing services under an annual term, the annual payment is committed and generally non-refundable.
On the Plus plan, one update batch is included per billing month. Unused batches do not roll over or accumulate. An annual plan provides one included batch per month, not a balance of twelve.
8. Update Batches and Additional Pages
Website update batches and additional pages are charged when requested and are not refundable once the work has been started or delivered.
If we have not yet started a batch you have paid for, contact us and we will either apply it to different changes or refund it.
9. When We Refund Anyway
The sections above describe normal cancellation. They are not meant to keep money we should not have taken. We will refund, regardless of the rules above, in situations such as:
- A duplicate charge
- A billing error on our side
- A charge taken after a valid cancellation should already have stopped renewal
- A refund required by applicable law
- A serious failure caused by ProLaunchKit
- Any other situation where we judge a refund to be the fair resolution
These are exceptions for when something has gone wrong, not an alternative route for a normal cancellation.
10. If Something Is Not Working
Our first goal is to solve the problem.
If you are unhappy with your website, tell us. We would rather fix it than lose you. Depending on the situation, that may mean:
- Revising the website within your launch revision window
- Clarifying your feedback with you directly
- Reworking a section that is not doing its job
- Providing additional project support
These steps are not intended to prevent you from receiving a refund you qualify for. They give us a reasonable opportunity to make the project right first.
11. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method whenever possible. The time required for the refund to appear depends on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider. ProLaunchKit is not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions or payment processors.
Refunds cannot exceed the amount actually paid for the service in question.
12. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under applicable consumer protection law. Where such law gives you a right to a remedy that this policy does not provide, that law applies.
13. What You Keep
Your domain is registered to you, and your original content, photos, and copy remain yours. ProLaunchKit hosts and manages the website while your plan is active. If your plan ends, your domain and your original content remain yours.
14. How to Cancel or Request a Refund
You can cancel future billing through the customer portal linked in the website footer, or by emailing info@prolaunchkit.com. If you email us, please include:
- Your name
- Your business name
- Your order information
- A brief explanation of what is not working for you
We will review your request and work toward a fair resolution.
Our Commitment
We want you to end up with a website you are proud to put in front of your customers. If something is not working, tell us. We will make a reasonable effort to fix it, and when a refund is appropriate under this policy, we will honor it.
At the same time, these guidelines let us protect the design and production time invested in projects that have already been approved, delivered, published, or used.
